Energy Trends
Senate Bill (SB) 23-291 included changes intended to address the transparency and affordability of energy. Included in this Legislation was a requirement that a utility requesting an increase to a rate, must also provide the Commission with a rate trend report for the previous 10 years. The report must reflect historical increases or decreases of the rate and must be posted on the utility’s websites. The Legislation took effect on Aug. 7.
