Breaking Down the Public Calendar
The PUC recognizes it can be difficult to understand the shorthand used to identify Commission weekly meetings, hearings, workshops and events. So, we’ve broken down the key items and terms necessary to read the calendar.

Each proceeding name begins with  a number and letter that indicates the year and type of proceeding. This is followed by 4 numbers that are sequentially assigned throughout the calendar year, starting at 0001. The final letter indicates the relevant industry.
A hypothetical proceeding titled 10A-123T means the following:

  • The proceeding was opened in 2010
  • The A indicates it is an Application proceeding
  • 123 means it was the 123rd filing of the calendar year
  • T means it is a telecommunications proceeding

*Please note, the first weekly meeting of the Commission of each month will be held in person and virtually.
