How Do I Find?

This section explains the process to file a complaint associated with a gas pipeline operator or utility.

This provides a link and instructions on how to find and review the compliance action documents that PSP has prepared. The regulatory definition of a compliance action can be found here. Please review the following instructional video for finding gas pipeline safety compliance documents in E-Filings.

1. Compliance actions issued to gas pipeline operators and utilities can be found on the PUC's E-Filings website, linked in the banner above.
2. Once in the E-Filings location, select, "SEARCH" at the bottom of the menu on the left side of the page.
3. In the search form that loads, select, "PROCEEDINGS" from the "SEARCH FOR" drop down menu.
4. Next, select "GAS PIPELINE SAFETY" from the "INDUSTRY" drop down menu.
5. Click on the "SEARCH" button within the grey box.

This search will provide a complete listing of all Proceedings associated with the Pipeline Safety Program. You may view all public documents within each individual proceeding.

This provides information to obtain inspection information. As per CRS 40-15-107, information obtained through audit is protected from Colorado's open records law, therefore any interim data or supporting data that was part of an audit, inspection, or investigation is not available for public viewing. In the event exact inspection results are needed, you may request a copy of the inspection results and report through PHMSA, here. You will be required to submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Instructions for this process can be found here.
