The Federal Communications Commission’s FCC 15-70 Order, Direct Access Report and Order, allow interconnected VoIP providers to obtain telephone numbers directly from the North American Numbering Plan Administrator and/or the Pooling Administrator. The company must notify this Commission of its intent to request telephone numbers at least 30 days prior to requesting numbers from the Numbering Administrators. The 30-day notification form available here must be filed in Proceeding No. 16M-0189T.
