Colorado No-Call

About the No-Call List Programs

Over 2.7 million Coloradans sought relief from telemarketers and signed up to be added to the Colorado No-Call List. Telemarketers also play an important role in making this program successful by following consumer wishes not to be called.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) stopped accepting no call information from the states, but they continue to accept information directly from residential subscribers who wish to register with the National Do Not Call Registry. Colorado will continue to access the national website and gather Colorado subscriber telephone numbers from the FTC to insure that they also appear on the Colorado No-Call List. Both the state and the national lists have similarities and subscribers may register on both sites to insure that they do not receive unwanted telemarketer calls. Click the buttons to the left to access Colorado No-Call Sign-Up and the National Do Not Call Registry. The Public Utilities Commission recommends that subscribers register on both sites.

The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) is charged with implementing the Colorado No-Call List. This includes oversight, rulemaking, and contracting with a designated agent that maintains the website and database. The current designated agent was selected after a state competitive bidding process and is Data Protection Group LLC. The Colorado Attorney General is responsible for enforcement.
