September 26, 2024 - Denver, Colorado –  The Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) voted to approve funding for a series of vital improvements to Colorado’s 9-1-1 network aimed at enhancing reliability and reducing the risk of outages. The Commission voted to approve a 3-cent increase to the state 9-1-1 surcharge, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The approved projects, totaling an estimated $4.6 million, include: 

September 14, 2024 - Denver, Colorado - The Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) recognizes “Digital Connectivity and Lifeline Awareness Week,” from September 8-14, and wants to help residents to get and stay connected through the federal Lifeline Program. The Lifeline Program helps provide access to local emergency services and community resources, which is vital to low-income residents to stay connected.
